Keeping Drivers up to Speed

Derek Halden writing in the Scotsman newspaper for CILT suggests that social and engineering changes need to be delivered in tandem.

The journey time data shows that speed cameras on the A9 have reduced travel times for law abiding drivers. However not all people think the speed limits on the A9 are correct. Should Scotland be more like Norway with all vehicles being required to travel at similar speeds on long distance single carriageways and if so then could this be a good test bed for driverless cars?
